About helps.wiki
helps.wiki is a reference for computer problems. Each guide starts from one error message or symptom, explains what it means and why it happens, and then lists fixes in a fixed order: the quick, safe checks first, the deeper repairs last.
What you will find here
- Guides for Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android and Chromebook problems, game and console errors, smart TVs and streaming apps, accounts and online services, desktop software and servers.
- An index of error codes that links each code to the guide that covers it.
- Download pages that point to the vendor's official download, with install steps. We never host installers or disk images.
What we do not do
- No activators, cracks, modified Windows builds or unofficial mirrors.
- No "driver updater" or "PC cleaner" recommendations. Fixes use the tools built into the system or the vendor's own tools.
- No third-party "account recovery" services: account and payment problems are solved through the service's own sign-in and support pages.
- No paid placements inside guides. Advertising is shown in marked boxes and never inside instructions.
How guides are researched, written and checked is described in the editorial policy. If a step is wrong or out of date, use "Report a mistake" at the end of the guide.
