- ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in Chrome: what it means and how to fix itERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED means the computer you tried to reach answered, but rejected the connection instead of accepting it. If many sites fail, check your proxy, VPN, security software and browser. If only one site or your own server fails, the service is probably not running or not listening on that port.
- ERR_CONNECTION_RESET in Chrome: what it means and how to fix itERR_CONNECTION_RESET means the connection to the site was cut off abruptly by a TCP reset, either by the site's server or by something between you and it. First work out whether the problem is on your side (try another network or browser), then check extensions, VPN, proxy settings and security software, and reset the network stack on Windows if needed.
- DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN: what it means and how to fix itDNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN means a DNS server told your browser that the website's domain name does not exist. Check the spelling and try another device first; if the site loads elsewhere, clear the browser and system DNS caches, then change your DNS servers.
